How to Choose a Wedding Photographer

Tips for relational bliss while choosing your photographer

wedding albums come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and quality making it hard to compare packages that include an album.

1. Decide who will take the lead

If one person is more knowledgeable or more concerned about photography than the other, consider letting that person take the lead.

2. Let the lead set all appointments

Having two different people setting appointments will just complicate things.

3. Attend all appointments together

If that's impossible, let the lead attend all appointments alone. Otherwise, you may end up with totally different opinions based solely on the fact that one of of you met with a photographer the other person never met.

4. Discuss the final choice

Hopefully, you will agree. If not, allow the lead to choose, with the caveat that the other partner be allowed to veto, if he or she feels it will be impossible to work with that photographer.

5 Book and celebrate

You have ticked off one more item on your to-do list.

Cindy was everything we were hoping for in a wedding photographer. Her skill of capturing emotion in candid photographs
of specific moments was nothing short of amazing. She didn’t just photograph the ceremony and reception, she captured the story of our special day.
We were worried that our photographs wouldn’t have been as amazing as the photojournalism style in her portfolio,
but we were delighted to discover that she doesn’t just get lucky catching those moments - that’s just what she does!
