Wedding Venues - Villa Christina

I had the pleasure of meeting with the sales team from Villa Christina earlier this week and was delighted to find out how much fun everyone there is having doing their jobs. It's always nice to be around folks who love their jobs. Not only were the people nice and fun-loving, the place was awesome, too. The Villa Christina structure itself is the only three-story, stacked-stone Italian villa in Atlanta. To my untrained eye the place had the look and feel of a Frank Lloyd Wright design with overarching eaves and beautiful proportions.

The building itself is surrounded by meticulously maintained gardens, meandering streams and majestic cedars. Towards the back of an open lawn is a gorgeous outdoor wedding pavilion, the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding.

The Villa offers two distinct settings for wedding receptions:

1) The ballroom, which was occupied when I visited. I'm told it "is classically appointed with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the gardens." This is close as I could get to the ballroom during my visit. (Notice the New York Life balloon there from a corporate event.)

The restaurant (see photos below) offers a more contemporary European flavor where one finds oneself surrounded in warm colors, contemporary paintings, iron accents, colorful glass fixtures and mobiles reminiscent of Alexander Calder's work.
